Employer’s Agent
Design and Build is one of the most popular forms of procurement, as Employer's Agent we can offer support to our client throughout the contract period. This is often combined with a pre-contract Project Management role and Quantity Surveying services to offer a full service throughout a project.
In our role as Employer’s Agent we offer a number of services:
Preparation of the “Employer’s Requirements”
Preparing contract documents
Administering the Design and Build contract
Issuing of instructions, notices and certificates
Analysing Contractor’s claims
Monitoring Contractor’s progress
Organising, chair and minute regular progress meetings
Contract Administration
For traditional forms of building contracts GPM offer an extensive Contract Administration service to our clients throughout the contract period. This is often combined with a pre-contract Project Management role and Quantity Surveying services to offer a full service throughout a project.
In our role as Contract Administrator we offer a number of services:
Preparing contract documents
Administering the contract
Issuing of instructions, notices and certificates

Project Management
GPM’s offer a full Project Management service which is usually superseded at contract stage with a Contract Administration or Employer’s Agent role. This service can offer the client assistance with the overall management of the project from the outset.
In our role as Project Manager we offer a number of services:
Assist the client in developing a brief and an execution plan
Advise and assist on the appointment of the clients professional team
Project co-ordination and communication management
Collating and issuing the client’s information on their behalf

Principal Designer
The role of a Principal Designer is to identify and manage construction health and safety risks throughout a project.
In our role as Principal Designer we offer a number of services:
Inform the client of the duties under the CDM regulations.
Planning, managing and reviewing health and safety prior to construction
Monitoring design stage to ensure designers comply with regulations
Preparation of Pre-Construction Information
Continuous review of health and safety matters through construction
Review and sign off of Health and Safety files
Monitoring Surveying
GPM offer a Monitoring Surveying service for funders and financial institutions in which we aim to protect the financial interests of our client. We monitor the performance and progress of developers against targets to ensure that funding streams are protected.
In our role as Monitoring Surveyor we offer two key services:
Preparation of an independent Initial Report in which we report on the developers ability to complete a project in line with confirmed budgets.
Periodic Interim Reports analysing the progress and performance of the developer against confirmed budgets in order to recommend a drawdown payment.
